A relatively high-toned nose features an array of red cherry, pomegranate, spice, wood and a whisper of the sauvage. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the delicious, punchy and mineral-driven medium weight plus flavors where the impressively long finish is less youthfully austere than usual. With that said, this is far from precocious so be prepared to be patient.
