The cool and pure nose reflects notes of herbal tea and spice on the aromas of plum and red currant. There is equally good energy and a bit more minerality to the big-bodied flavors though not quite the same concentration, all wrapped in a delicious, linear and firm finish. This is very impressive and, like the Chambertin, should age effortlessly.
