Ca' Rome Romano Marengo La Gamberaja Barbera d'Alba 2022 750ml

The winery’s vineyards in Barbaresco and Serralunga D’Alba consist of historic, marl-heavy soils and produce world-class, terroir-driven Barbaresco and Barolo wines. These 45-year old vines are planted with a density of 5,500 vines per hectare (2,226 per acre), and a very low crop yield of 1.5 kg per vine. The resulting wine is crimson with dark ruby highlights and a complex, elegant bouquet reminiscent of blackberries and spices confirmed on a full, fresh, flavorful palate with a consistent, lingering finish.
