It is a massive wine that aromatically comes at you in waves. It starts with blueberry and plums, but then cocoa and spice reveal themselves. With your first sip you know it is a serious wine. The acidity starts the attack, but then the long smooth tannins caress your palate. It will age beautifully, but it wants to play already. As it lingers on the palate, it shows a suppleness that such large wines rarely have. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petite Verdot, which gives it an amazing minerality on the finish.
